i-genomic™ Stool DNA Extraction Mini Kit is specialized in extracting DNA such as DNA virus, gram negative bacteria, gram positive bacteria, mammalian genomic DNA from fresh and frozen stool sample, not only human but also animal. Generally, stool sample requires system for removing impurities because it contains lots of substances related to DNA degradation and many types of compounds that inhibit enzyme reaction in PCR. Genomic DNA from colorectal epithelial cells, gram-negative / positive bacteria, viruses and gastrointestinal pathogens should be available for stool specimens because the extracted genomic DNA is used as a sample to determine whether bacteria or virus infection is present. High quality of purified genomic DNA is required. This product meets these requirements and introduces the IR Spin Column to effectively remove the various impurities in the stool and effectively extract the meta-genome scattered in the stool with the optimal buffering system . i-genomic ™ Stool DNA Extraction Mini Kit is a very simple and easy method to extract genomic DNA within 50 minutes. No additional procedure for phenol-chloroform extraction or alcohol precipitation is required.
